1 Spanish onion, cut in half and sliced thin
2 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
2 red bell peppers, stem and seeds removed, sliced
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 oz white wine

Using rendered liquid from the sausages, stir in the onion and garlic and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Add red bell peppers, basil, and oregano. Mix together and then stir in white wine. Continue to cook until peppers and onions are tender. Return sausage slices to the sauté pan with the peppers and onions. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15 minutes or until sausage is heated through. Serve over rice.
